Closing Event: 2025 Reflections, 2026 Visions

Congratulations to all teams for succeeding through Grand Final 2025, with incredible work and effort contributed throughout the competition. This year’s Closing Event, led by the Heart Hackathon organisers, showcased the impressive projects created by students and academics around the world. Highlights from the Grand Final, held in Vienna, were shared during the webinar, along with reflections from our top teams. UNSW Mending Broken Hearts took the top honour as Overall Winner, with CardiaTech and CBU Cardiac Engineering also sharing their journeys and achievements. Team Bath Heart received Most Advanced Design, QUT Heartbeats was recognised as Best New Team, and the Monash Heart Hack Team earned Best Challenge Statement, each offering insights and advice for future participants.
