TAH Webinar: Patient Journey

In this session, Johnny Lemucchi shared his journey of life as a TAH patient after being diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. His inspirational story greatly raises awareness of heart diagnoses and the significance of TAH in real life.

Johnny Lemucchi

Johnny Lemucchi is a businessman and former soccer referee based in Downey, United States. He was a TAH patient who was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in 2016. Fortunately, he was able to receive a Syncardia TAH transplant before a heart transplant in 2022 and take on a recovery journey. He is now the president of Unique Beating Hearts, a non-profit organisation of individuals with TAH experience who are passionate about creating a safe and supportive community for heart failure patients.
