Bio: Durham Heart is a student-run project based at Durham University with the mission to create a Total Artificial Heart. We are designing, prototyping and testing a device that could someday be used to help save the lives of patients with total heart failure. The challenge of developing a novel solution to a serious global issue, alongside the prospect of saving lives, is what drives us to do the work that we do.
