Bio: We are a team of three master’s students in Medical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Coming from complementary backgrounds in biomedical engineering, signal processing, and embedded systems, we share a common motivation: using engineering to solve clinically meaningful problems.

Our work is driven by curiosity, scientific rigor, and a desire to translate technical innovation into practical healthcare impact. Rather than focusing only on theoretical solutions, we aim to design systems that are reliable, interpretable, and usable in real clinical environments.

For the Heart Hackathon, our goal is to develop a solution that improves the monitoring, understanding, or treatment of cardiovascular conditions by combining data-driven methods with physiological insight. We see the competition as an opportunity to rapidly prototype, validate ideas, and collaborate with clinicians and fellow engineers while pushing our skills beyond the classroom.

Through this experience, we hope not only to build a strong technical solution, but also to contribute to safer, smarter, and more accessible cardiovascular care.
