Bio: In Te reo Māori, Manawa signifies both heart and breath. The University of Auckland Heart Hackathon team, within the Healthcare Technology Association club, is a collaborative, multidisciplinary group driven by the goal of helping heart failure patients regain their ability to live a full life. Specifically, to enable them to enjoy the breathtaking nature of New Zealand once again. Our approach is physiologically informed and clinically focused, ensuring that our innovation goes beyond practical engineering to meet real-world patient needs.
